Just wanted to thank you for your excellent website UAE Prison. I spent 3 years in Al-Wathba and its great to see that there are people out there telling the world about the gross inhumanity that exists. Keep up the good work! P.S. Can I find out about current/past prisoners through you?

I was in there for 14 times, From Dubai to Sharjah and f--- Ajman and if you wanna know what is the real life in there just ask me. I'll tell you people what is prison in and what is life in there. For no fucking reason they put people there, and treat them like dirty pigs, and after words they are saying that we are the Muslim!!! THEY ARE FUCKING IDIOTS! They are know nothing about Islam. 

I am Russian, and I am Christian, but I do speak Arabic - and you know what they asked me when they found that I can understand Arabic?- why I am not Muslim? Fun - isn't? In the Court there is only two main question Name and Nationality. That some times they ask : Do you speak Arabic? It happened with me when I said YES, then judge asked me do you speak English? after that he asked for Hindi. And last he said that they don't have Russian translator and sent me back to jail where I spent one month only for a translator. Life is shit in UAE! Who said that Dubai city of Gold? I say that Dubai is full of Shit!!!

I know exactly what you mean and I support your website wholeheartedly. My mother, who was the regional manager for a multinational American company got on the wrong side of her Arab counterpart in the company. He filed case after case against my mother and eventually she was sentenced to 6 years in prison, which was appealed to 2 years. She gets out in September from the Dubai Womans Prison. The conditions there are unbelievable. We are Sri Lankan and understand the abuses that go on – I applaud you for starting your site on the UAE, you are brave to do so and I hope that it brings the world spotlight onto the business culture here.
